You need to be a Jira administrator to install apps!
Install the app

Click on the Explore more apps icon in your sidebar.

The Atlassian Marketplace page will be displayed, in the search bar, type in Formula Fields

The app will appear on the list, select it and start your free trial
Create your first formula field
Now that the app is installed, it’s time create your first formula field.
You need to be a Jira administrator to create custom fields.
Start by browsing to the field overview page and find the “Create formula field” button.
💡 Tip: The Field overview page works just like a control center — you can create new fields, check their status, and edit existing ones without jumping between multiple Jira admin screens.
Try using the command palette (“CMD / CTRL + K) “to quickly Access the app

Take the onboarding tour
Open the additional options dropdown on the field overview page and take or retake the onboarding tour any time you want. You’ll be automatically guided to each feature after creating your first field.

Explore the Templates from the library to speed up your next field creation. You will find all templates built right into the app in our template gallery once you start the page creation process.
