When upgrading sumUp to version v10.0.0, your Atlassian administrator may be asked to review and approve additional Confluence permissions.
This request is expected and is required because sumUp gadgets are now supported in Confluence.
You can add sumUp macros to Confluence pages and use them to display and analyze data from the connected Jira Cloud site. The macros provide the same sumUp functionality available through the corresponding sumUp Jira dashboard gadgets.
If your organization does not currently use sumUp in Confluence, approving these permissions still allows the app upgrade to be completed and makes the Confluence macros available for future use.
Which Confluence permissions does sumUp require?
sumUp requests the following permissions:

The write permission applies only to user properties used by sumUp. It does not allow sumUp to edit Confluence pages or change your Confluence configuration.

What sumUp does not access?
sumUp does not request permission to:

Create, edit, or delete Confluence pages

Access page content or attachments

Change spaces, global settings, or security settings

Perform Confluence administration actions
Once the permissions have been approved, you can continue using sumUp in Jira and start adding sumUp macros to Confluence pages.
